This is our annual forage mix that is easy to grow and maintain. Offers deer an extremely nutritious and palatable food source, while given them all the nutrients they will need from early spring into late fall. The plants in our Early Mix will provide an impressive source of minerals and be a rich source of manganese, iron, copper, zinc, phosphorous, calcium, potassium, and magnesium, as well as essential vitamins. Once you have taken the time to prepare your soil, broadcast our Early Mix seeds over your plot, and roll in, it’s that easy. Before establishing a good food plot. we recommend you have your soil tested to insure proper soil pH and NPK percentages. As rule of thumb, we recommend a 19-19-19 fertilizer at the rate of about 150 lbs per half acre. You can plant our Early Mix from early spring into late summer. Each 30 pound bag of Early Mix will cover ½ acre and is the ultimate when it comes to a nutritional food plot.
